Welcome to the 2019 school year!
Grahamvale Primary School is committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all students, staff and members of our community. Our school recognises the importance of the partnership between our school and parents and carers to support student learning, engagement and wellbeing. We share a commitment to, and a responsibility for, creating an inclusive and safe school environment for our students.
Grahamvale Primary School’s vision is to provide a quality education for all students within a caring and safe environment. Our motto is ‘Quality Education for All.’ We encourage all students to be confident, life‐long learners who are able to form positive relationships with others. As members of a wider community, our students will become responsible citizens who can use technology, are eSmart and who are ready to accept the challenges of an ever changing world. Our core values are: Respect, Personal Best, Teamwork and Community.
At the end of the 2018 school year I wrote a poem for our year 6 graduating students – a poem that is reflective of what I wish all our students to strive for:
Go forth and take everything that comes your way.
Reach for the stars and never look back
Always be the best that you can be
Dare to be different and follow your dreams
Understand that things won’t always be easy
Appreciate what you have and don’t take it for granted
Trust your instinct
Immerse yourself in the opportunities that come your way and inspire others
Open your eyes and look for the possibilities
Never lose your sense of humor or your smile!
